Jardines para celebraciones en Écija.

El lugar

Este cortijo próximo a Écija se remodeló para lugar de bodas y otros eventos. La gran nave del antiguo pajar pasó a ser el Salón Interior de Celebraciones. El diseño integral paisajístico de todo el exterior parte de una amplia planicie que no contenía ningún elemento y rodeada de cultivos de olivos y almendros. Había que pensar en la practicidad del nuevo uso del lugar y en que la partida presupuestaria en jardines fuese económica.

Creando espacios nuevos

De esta manera se construyó un gran aparcamiento y una típica entrada de cortijo con marcados machones, alineada con la puerta principal del salón de celebraciones y con un largo muro para separar el aparcamiento del edificio central, y acorde con éste, varias fuentes, unas adosadas a muros y otras a nivel del suelo, además de un estanque formado por dos unidades separadas para permitir el paso y con varios surtidores de cerámica en ellas, consiguiéndose un agradable efecto sonoro y fresco, para que el sonido del agua recibiese a los invitados y refrescara las calurosas tardes y noches ecijanas. Los amplios espacios están relacionados entre sí mediante los ejes de las puertas principales y los centros de las fuentes. El pavimento del conjunto es de ladrillo rústico que rodea a las fuentes, marca los caminos y organiza los distintos espacios para compartir al aire libre, todo ello enmarcado con tierra de albero.

Las plantas

Se recurrió a plantas de fácil mantenimiento. Resultando de todo esto un lugar equilibrado, sobrio y elegante, como suelen ser las haciendas andaluzas, donde se circula cómodamente y permite que los asistentes interrelacionen fácilmente. Entre las especies elegidas estan: ciprés,olivo, algarrobo, palmito, aladierno, lentisco, adelfa, lavanda dentada, gaura, dimorfoteca, tulbagia y romero.

The place

This Cortijo near Écija was remodeled as a place for weddings and other events. The great nave of the old barn became the Interior Hall of Celebrations. The integral landscape design of the entire exterior starts from a wide plain that did not contain any element and surrounded by olive and almond groves. It was necessary to think about the practicality of the new use of the place and that the budget item in gardens was economical.

Creating new rooms

In this way, a large parking lot was built and a typical entrance with marked buttresses aligned with the main door of the celebration hall and with a long wall to separate the parking lot from the central building, and according to it, several fountains, some attached to walls and others at ground level, in addition to a pond formed by two separate units to allow passage and with several ceramic spouts in them, achieving a pleasant sound and cool effect, so that the sound of the water received the guests and cooled the hot Ecijan afternoons and nights. The wide spaces are related to each other through the axes of the main doors and the centers of the fountains. The paving of the complex is made of rustic brick that surrounds the fountains, marks the paths and organizes the different spaces for sharing in the open air, all framed with albero earth.

The plants

Easy maintenance plants were used. Resulting from all this a balanced, sober and elegant place, as Andalusian haciendas tend to be, where you can circulate comfortably and allow attendees to easily interrelate. Among the species chosen are: cypress, olive, carob, fan palm, aladierno, mastic, oleander, toothed lavender, gaura, dimorphoteca, tulbagia and rosemary.
